The Kankakee Mallow is a showy plant that can only be found on one island in Illinois on the Kankakee River. Thanks to the amazing Friends of Langham Island and Robbie Q Telfer over at Habitat 2030, there’s been a push to restore the island and to get the flower recognized as the State Flower of Illinois. These posters were made to help raise money for new gear for the island crew. Check out more about the project at the Chicago Tribune.
