Stories in the Land:
Tales of the University of Wisconsin Arboretum
An Exhibition of New Work by
Liz Anna Kozik
For her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Design Studies
The UW–Madison Arboretum is rich in history, research, and beauty. Liz Anna Kozik, a graduate student in Design Studies, has created visual stories of Arboretum past and present for her Master of Fine Arts exhibition told through tapestries in the Visitor Center, comics to read, and signs placed on the Arboretum grounds. Kozik focuses on the history of Curtis Prairie—the first prairie restoration in the world. The exhibit will be on view April 22 through June 8.
