I have had the wonderful opportunity to work with fellow University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate student, Amy Alstad, who has researched prairie plots all over Wisconsin that were previously recorded in the 50s and 80s. She is investigating changes over time and causes that have influenced these plant populations. I have drawn 70 of the most common plants found in the ’50s, ’80s, and ’10s and will be working with her to visualize and share her findings. More information about her research can be found here.
